Adam Armstrong (Head Boy 1984-1985)

Adam Armstrong was head boy of the prestigious Italia Conti Academy Between 1984 and 1985. Twice the Italia Conti student of the year Adam studied there from 1986-1985 but also taught there between 1985 and 1995. Aside from this Adam has acted on stage, screen and Television, Taught hundreds of People for almost 30 years, many of whom became International celebrities and is also an examiner for LAMDA the Worlds pre-eminent Speech and Drama Board. Adam also runs a management and training development company specialising in Drama based learning and is now exploring the link between between Psychology and Drama

People Adam trained include Russell Brand, Loose Women’s Claire Sweeney, Pineapple’s Louis Spence, TV presenter Louise Redknapp, Actor Danny Mays, WWE Wrestler Layla El, Step’s Lisa Scott-Lee, S Club 7’s Jo O’Meara, Martine McCutcheon, Emmerdale’s Sherree Murphy and Waking the Dead’s Claire Goose.

Credits include : MINDER, PIECE OF CAKE, THE BILL, GRANGE HILL, TO SERVE THEM ALL MY DAYS and GOODBYE MR. CHIPS on TV and Theatre includes SHAKESPEARE IN THE TOWER, FORTY YEARS ON at the Queens theatre West End, THE JEW OF MALTA at the Donmar, THE FRONTIERS OF FARCE at the Old Vic as well as being a former national theatre player and appearing in the 1984 ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE.
