Retired Teacher
Experience: 1982-1984 Taught English to socio-economic students at Caen University, Normandy France.
Directed and produced WB Yeats plays with students and performed them in the University.
1984-2017- taught Drama and English at Mercy College Belfast.
Held position of HOD in Drama until 2014.
Experience in all key stages of education.
2014-2017. Held position of Educational facilitator in the school, to implement the co operative education model for SFA, success for all.
2015-Worked in collaboration with LAMDA, Peter Ferris and Adam Armstrong in delivering the LAMDA programme to students from Mercy College and Edmund Rice College.
Continuing to work with the aforementioned personnel in building opportunities for more young people to access the LAMDA courses in Northern Ireland. Currently the course is delivered from Mercy College Belfast which is the official center for LAMDA in Northern Ireland.
Having helped to facilitate this programme and witnessed its value to young people, as a professional in the field of Education, I have no hesitation in recommending it to all young people.
