Through my LAMDA exams I have grown in confidence and in understanding of the texts I have analysed. This in turn has helped me bring characters to life- to understand their history, their motives, their individuality. This has been through group sessions and one on one sessions with Peter Ferris and adam Armstrong, practising monologues. They have been incredibly encouraging and given me invaluable advice. I have earned my silver and more recently my gold LAMDA medal, both at distinction level. This is something I couldn't have done without Peter, Adam and Patricia Meir, my drama teacher, as their support has been key to my achievements. My LAMDA results have given me UCAS points which has helped enable me to go to university, and I will be attending Goldsmiths, University of London this September. (2017) This is a very exciting new chapter of my life and I feel LAMDA has helped prepare me for this.
