My name is Mícheál McGreevy. My time with LAMDA has been valuable to not only the development of my own performance skills, but also beneficial to the development of my own personal skills as well. During my time at Mercy College, my lessons with LAMDA greatly benefited whenever it came to the development of my classes practical dramatic pieces, including our very own devised piece. The skills I obtained from my LAMDA classes gave me confidence in my own ability, as well as my understanding of teamwork whenever it comes to the creation of character development, as well as understanding how to develop a play in order to convey to the audience the underlying message of a particular piece. These skills can also be used during everyday life as well, such as communications skills, diction, posture and confidence whenever speaking to groups or crowds. I want to take this time to thank Peter Ferris, Adam Armstrong and Patricia Meir for the help that I was provided with during my time as their student that not only helped me develop as a performer but also as a young adult.
