‘I have had the privilege of knowing Peter Ferris for about three years.
Peter’s work came to my attention through my professional interest in the Creative Arts and in Conflict Resolution.
Peter’s has worked with young people from both sides of Northern Ireland’s political divide.
That work has highlighted that, irrespective of one’s personal circumstances and lack of opportunity, young people can gain confidence in themselves, they can actually feel good enough to consider employment opportunities in the creative industries sector and also learn to respect each other’s political perspectives.
Through the medium of drama and script writing Peter has opened up the minds of young people from Northern Ireland. His work in LA, where he has used the NI –model of education and personal development through the Arts, is to be applauded.’
